St. Charles, MO (June 3, 2009) ..Westward Ho !!! Ellen and I and the home on wheels have now started the westward portion of our journey. There's a certain permanency to this segment since we plan on living in Chandler, AZ when the odyssey is complete. Our current goal is to make it to the Badlands in South Dakota by Monday .. so driving 200 - 300 miles per day will get us there on time. Today we travelled from Clarksville, IN to St. Charles, MO a distance of 288 miles crossing both the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers along the way. Our current location is a suburb of St. Louis, the gateway to the west and our future.
