Mile Marker 155 I-70, MO (June 4, 2009) ..Dirty side up ??? Well not quite. the dirty side is down but due to hot brakes the truck cab caught fire resulting in a total loss as seen above. The driver ??? He escaped the inferno and will live to drive the interstate again. Thank God. We spotted this today on the eastbound lanes of I-70 as we followed the Missouri River across its' namesake state. Tonight we stop in St. Joseph, MO on our way to the Badlands of South Dakota. It's dangerous out there. Drive carefully and if ever involved in a vehicular fire hit the exits immediatey.
