Rapid City, SD (June 13, 2009) ..Today we visited Reptile Gardens on the southern edge Rapid City. Pictured above is Methusaleh the turtle. Why such a name ? Well, Methusaleh is the oldest character in the Bible at 969 years and our land tortoise friend is celebrating his 128th birthday. The Gardens have all kinds of reptile exhibits such as snakes, lizards, turtles, birds including an American Eagle. The flower gardens are really beautiful and expertly arranged. Ellen misses gardening and fell in love with the flower pictured below.
