Vail, CO (June 24,2009) ..Today Ellen and I visited Vail which is a ski resort located in the Rocky Mountains about 90 miles west of Denver. Ellen thought the town was a shopping mecca in the mountains and purchased several items including a chair, jackets and an outfit for baby Lucie. We had lunch at the Red Lion and would recommend it to anyone.
Gore Creek runs through town .. as you can see below two kyakers were trying their upstream skills in the late afternoon.
