Interior, SD (June 9, 2009) ..Believe it or not this is a view of the city jail located at Interior, SD just a few miles from our campsite. This area is pretty remote. The nearest library is almost 50 miles away. Our cell phones and wireless internet do not work here so in effect we are in telecommunications jail. Our onstar phone does function and the campground has wifi which provides a slow connection to the web. Interior has suffered a 16% decline in population since the last census of 2000.
