Located just one degree north of the tropical zone is the city of Key West, Florida. The spring equinox occured today lining up the earth's terminator with all of it's lines of longitude. As a result the sun rose exactly due east and set due west as seen from Mallory Square a favorite spot for tourists celebrating the end of another sunlit day. Now that spring has begun we can expect better weather up north.
